Our Story

Living Water is a non-denominational, Bible based community of believers in Boone, NC. Living Water was planted in 1977 by a church planting team out of Anchorage, Alaska. The dream was to create a community of believers that embraced creative worship, sought the Father’s heart, and had a desire to reach out to the community. Our story, like anyone’s, has been a process, but through it all the Lord has been faithful to fulfill His word and His purposes. God had a dream, and He wrapped a community of believers around that dream. Our church has been given a Caleb mandate (Joshua 14:6-14) to take this mountain for the glory of Jesus! We do what we do to see our community transformed by the love of Jesus, and be changed by an accurate picture of the Father’s heart.

Our Leadership

Living Water is overseen by Pastor Darrell Roberts and his wife Kim. They have been serving in ministry in the High Country for over 20 years. Their hearts are to see Boone and ASU transformed by the love of God, and from there to sow seeds into all the world to proclaim the gospel.
